66 Wood Wheel Restoration
Does anyone have any suggestions on what to use to fill cracks in an original 66 gto wood wheel. I want to try and restore it myself rather than pay someone to do it. I have seen where filler covered by paint is used on regular wheels, but am just curious if they make filler the color of the simulated wood wheels. Thanks

You may want to contact "Platinum Al" here on the forum for he restores plenty of wheels for us. Eastwood products also offers a wheel restoration kit and I think I seen the kit available through AMES Performance.

pc7 2 part epoxy works good , repaired my 64 wood wheel , have a friend that does antique furniture repair he did the touch-up , looks great .
