Default Ducktail or not?

Ok, I finally got some pictures loaded of the Lemans.
Can anyway say for sure if this is a ducktail spoiler or not? I am going to be replacing the trunk lid and removing the spoiler ends. My main thing is should I be careful and try not to break these things, or can I just smash them up?
I have zero interest in keeping the spoiler, but if it is something worth the effort I will try to get it off without damaging it in case someone wants the stupid thing.

Thanks,
Russ

Sorry, that's someone's "custom" creation.

They're actually Trans Am spoilers with the end pieces turned backwards. Pretty clever and if he'd faired it in with bondo on the side it'd fool a casual looker.

You know, I kept thinking Trans Am, but it didn't look quite right. That would explain it.
good thing is I don't have to worry about not ruining them. I like taking things apart that way. :-)
Thanks,
Russ

I bet there are several folks who would like to have it on a hotrod build.
If it was cheap/free.

Probably takes a lot of time to start from scratch and fit one up like that.
