Default High Perf Pontiac Source Interlink F/U

I wonder how Source Interlink stays in business? I haven't received a single issue on a multi year subscription because they cannot deal with snow bird address changes. They have a THREE MONTH+ lead time on address changes. Questioning the representative about HPP and other mags she finally said she was over her time limit with me and had to terminate the call.

I wonder what the lead time on a refund is?

Source Interlink: Why did you buy HPP if you can't deliver it? Sell it to an entity that can!

I don't understand the time lag either. In this age of computers sending information at the speed of light, why would it take three months to enter an address change into a data base? There can't be that many changes every month. Do they print the address labels up three months in advance?

Is it like this with most magazine subscription departments, or are there some who actually value good customer relations?

One solution is to enter your change of address request three months in advance. If you are heading to AZ or FL in Oct or Nov, send in your request by Jul or Aug. If you are coming back north in May, send in your change in Feb.

In the long run, I guess it doesn't matter, as soon as you get your subscription changes sync'ed to your moves, the subscription department will change their procedure.
