Default PY tank straps?

Looking for '68 A-body gas tank straps in the PY online catalog, part number gm87.

Part is shown to be "In stock -'Yes' " but right below it is a message saying "GM Discontinued" and below that ......."On backorder no date"...... use mr87s..."
but no results when I search for that number.
In fact, I can't get the search engine to find a part even when I put a known good number in the box.
So, what gives? In stock or out?

Greg, There are several sets of GMR87 in stock. The note was an old note when GM was in the process of discontinuing. GMR87 is now a nice reproduction. We also have GMR87S in stock which is a stainless version of the straps. sorry for the confusion.

Thanks Chris. Working up an order, just need to think about what else I can combine shipping on while I'm at it.

Hey greg Im not sure how bad your trunk braces are but when I did my trunk I replaced the braces and the pan along with the hardware, straps and screws. Just a thought if you needed them.

I'm changing the entire trunk pan that includes all the braces and I have a brand new tank. My straps aren't bad really but who wants old, undercoating covered straps on a brand new pan and tank?
