Default Who still drives an old car most of the time

Who still drives a old car. I have to ask as I scrap ice off the old goat today. I have my car in the shop and I needed something to drive so I ask my brother if I could drive one of his cars. He told me I could drive his 69 gto 4sp it has no heat hooked up and the wipers don't work on the car just like the old days. I just love to drive this old car it brings back so many memoirs. I just wanted to know am I the only one that still drive an old car. Not everyone has a show car.

I drive a '56 oldsmobile 88 at random. I mix up the driving duties between the 74 t/a, 87 bmw, 56 olds and 97 grand prix. I'll throw in the 78 t/a sparatically.

My '67 Cutlass is usually my daily driver if I don't ride a motorcycle, but I suppose it's easier in a warm climate than it is back there.

I do, every day. I don't have a 'new' car so it's either my '58 or my '67.

Drove my '73 4x4 Chevy today. My late model is an '85 4x2 Chevy truck that we swapped a '00 SIlverado V6 engine trans into. Currently getting it ready to paint. Been using it for a shop truck for the last 5 years. The wife driving her '67 Firebird daily up until a couple years ago. Got worried about someone smashing it for us, so I got her an '01 Dakota.

If we didn't have a salt issue here in Mass, I'd be driving one every day.
I usually drive one from April/May until November.

Does a 1977 count as old? If so then I here's mine: Drive it daily. Only thing not working is the cruise control...

Can we make this a poll? I'm curious what the numbers will be...

Maybe...
1) Daily
2) 50/50
3) Weekends

I lived 10 miles or less from work and had no salt on the roads I would. I work 37 miles from home and have to compete with 200K other crazy MA drivers trying to get into Boston every day.

I would if we didn't get salt on the roads here. Some snow tires and maybe a little less of a drop on the suspension and I' sure the goat would love winter duty.

My daily broke down last february and I drove the goat for a couple weeks until I had time to fix the other car. It was a little scary with the bfg's in snow, but very manageable once I became used to it. Did make me realize that it needs a new blower motor though, the old one makes lots of noise and little air flow.

Seen a BLUE 67 LeMans 350 on Route 1 this AM.

I drive the 68 GTO every Friday( pizza run), and Sat or/and Sun if nice out.

I drive my '71 90% of the time, year round. It has great ac and heat and everything works well on it. Can't seem to keep the washer pump working, though.

Define "old".

In nice weather I drive a '91 Caddy Allante, otherwise my daily driver is a '93 Eldo, 213K miles.

My daily driver is an '86. To me it's still a pretty new car but I suppose it is eligible for classic car plates. I plan on driving it for another 20 years or so, and then I'll go into the old folks home and won't have to worry about it anymore.

'68 Beetle 3 or 4 days a week. Up unil year 2000 when I got my '97 pickup, I ALWAYS drove '60s through early '80s cars to work every day. .

This is what I was looking for, to read what other people are driving. I read all the time about how someone redone a car spent all this money and never drive it I wish more people would do articles on what people drive. It is much more real. Thank all of you for taking the time to post.
