Default Nodular rear casting numbers?

Does anyone have the casting numbers for 67 thru 69 nodular Bird rears?
I have a 67 bird with 67 dated 3.90 gears and a 4 pinion posi, but there is no N on the housing? I have what I believe are 2 68 rears with 9793020 on them, I have not checked the 69s that are in cars yet. Are 69s also 9793020 just the flat areas on the tubes?
Thanks

Somewhere in here I have posted my 68 N rear; but it was TOO many years ago for me to remember where. I don't even know that they keep the threads that long; but if you search me and "N" rears you might find it.

I'm not sure on the '67.
The '69 early/late may have had something to do with the '69 carryover into the '70 MY. Again, I'm not sure.

First off, did 67 GTOs have a N center section, seeing as how Birds used the same ones as GTOs.
Next is, when was the switch from the round tube of 68 changed to the flat spot for 69 birds. Roughly when was the date split, between late RA II and early RA IV rears.
Did some early 69 RA cars get late 68 round tube rears?

Thumbs up 69 N posi

I checked the date on 5/69 build 69 convt, : "N" ZK #107 cast, 3/69 date
On the TA, build date 8/69, it has a ZK, "N" #124 cast, 6/69 date

The #124, must have been used later in the year.
Anyone else run accross this part#?

Great, so 68 is 9793020
Early 69 is 9795107
Late 69 is 9795124

Where was the split between the two in 69?

Is there such a thing as a late 68 or early 9793020 69 rear?

What is the 67 N housing #?

Default posi rear

On 69 "N" bird rear, I would say, mar. 69, might be the last date for #107. The #124 took it from there, but that is just my guess based on what I have here for part #s & dates.

Default 67 Firebird Nodular Rear Casting Number

The 67 Firebird Nodular housings were used on factory equipped 3.36, 3.55, and 3.90 posi rears. The 3.36 and 3.55 open rears jut used regular cast housings, 3.90 was available as posi only, no 67 bird left the factory with 4.33's although 4.33's were available over the parts counter. Those nodular rears also got different stronger axles as confirmed by the parts books. The cast number on the 67 bird nodular rears was 9788647 and dates will be in the format of a number that represents the day of the year unlike the regular cast housing that use the date format of a letter for month followed by numbers for day and year. The nodular housing will have the large N on the pinion snout. It will have the two ears like the GTO rear as the bird was rushed into production and actually used the same one as used by GTO. All 67 bird rears have brackets for both traction bars regardless of how many bars the car actually got. I attached some pictures of an original 3.55 and 3.90 nodulars from 67 birds.
