turbo 3.8 engine builder in PA/NY/NJ area?
posting for a friend. Has an 89 T/A that is beautiful with 26K! Blew the engine. Any reputable re builders in the area? thanks

I think you are confused. I said Bear DE not Philly. I had 2- 3.8s and Dennis Cooper rebuilt my turbo T in the 90's and did a fabulous job. That car ran great up to the day I sold it with 147K. He also got my GN to go REALLY FAST in 1990 with his expertise.This was before the warranty period was even over. Back then everybody who wanted to go faster with a 3.8 took it to them. It wasn't unusual to see 6 or 8 gn's in his yard getting rear main seals ,welding headers back together,changing timing gears or huge turbos being done in his little garage . Heck I don't know if he still works on cars anymore since I got out of turbo 3.8's in 97 but he does not have a bad rep with me. Hell he used to send me a Christmas card every year.
