there are 2 5/16" head screws behind the plastic cover plate that covers the handle.
the map pocket uses 2 non washer 5/16" screws, like what holds the gauges in the dash, only shorter. |

not on the 70-74 cars i have seen, but the 72 & 74 i own have a hex head bolt, 5/16" size. only because i just removed the 74's door panels a couple days ago do i remember what they were. no phillps head screws are used on the map pocket or the door handles. the chrome screws, sometimes with washers, are usually for plastic interior trim like sail panels etc.

If so, here's what ones off my 1971 look like. 5/16" hex head per previous post. Captured washer. Total length of approximately 5/8". The washer is about 1/2" diameter.
