graphite rear main seal????

What is everyones take on the use of the graphite rear main seal. I read a number of years ago it was the way to go. I tried the neoprene seal in my 389. Still had issues with leaking some, not bad. Thanks for your opinion. never mind guys, found the thread I was looking for.
