Default Running 1959 389/2bbl/Auto. Long block. Jetaway parts.

Sorry, forgot to list prices earlier.

I have what is supposed to be a running 1959 Pontiac 389. It is a 1959 389, but I never saw it run myself. I don't doubt that it does, though, as I saw the car it came out of. Story is this: Guy's wife buys 1959 Star Chief from North Carolina. Has it shipped to California. Motor runs beautifully, but transmission is shot. Guy takes out transmission and takes to shop, shop says at least $2k to repair. Guy sells engine to me (and throws in tranny parts in a big box.) I have no reason to doubt that the motor runs. It's all there.

I'm keeping the front dress (front cover, balancer, accessories, brackets, water fittings) and valve covers. I'm also keeping the Jetaway bell for a while, so I can use it to prototype a BOP->Ford trans adapter, and i want it to support the older blocks, too.

Gusher tubes may be available, but I haven't decided that yet.

All prices are shipping NOT included. All prices are OBO.

Everything (except parts I've reserved above): $1000 obo. Take the trans, too, if you want it and want to pay shipping. I'll check date codes and whatnot, if anyone needs me to.

Parts:

Air cleaner housing+tube: $50.
Intake+carb: $75.
Heads: $150/pr.
Rocker Arms/Push Rods: $40.
Exhaust manifolds: $100/pr.
Distributor: $75.
Crank: $250.
Rods: $200.
Oil Pan/Windage (if any): $40.
Oil Filter Housing: $75.
Flex plate: $40.
Block+Caps: $750.
Transmission parts: Free to a good home.

If there are any other specific parts you need, just ask.

Thanks,

--Corey

(I'd rather sell here, but will be putting these on eBay in a few days -- wife says make back the initial layout, OR ELSE.)
