steering column
hey guys, will a 75 tilt column bolt right in to my 71 firebird? i know some of those firewall mounting points are different of some years. does anyone no for sure if it will or will not. im not sure how i would even modify it to fit. the price is ok and the condition is great so it would be nice to check one more task off my list. thanks!

as far as i know the 75 will fit in your 71. the important areas are not the firewall bolts, those are the same for all years of 2nd gens. its where it meets the steering gear & intermediate rod. also might want to verify electrical hook ups, but those can usually be swapped out for what you need. so the firewall bolt up is not the concern.
