Default 69 GTO Convertible Restomod project. Title in Hand

Selling my 69 GTO convertible. Bought it back in 2010, stripped it, got it sandblasted and primed. Replaced entire floor, trunk, quarters, wheelwells, and fender patches. Everything now sitting in black SP Epoxy primer. Only bodywork remaining is gapping, and some minor fill work on the doors.

Currently has an LY6/T56 (~18k miles on motor and trans) in it with a new LS7 clutch/flexplate/hydaulic lines/etc... no fuel system yet so it isn't running. Motor not wired up yet either but I have the ECU and harness. Brand new body harness from Painless. Seats from an 05 GTO. Brake system is converted over to discs using 00 F-body brake system and BRP adapter set.
I have all chrome and pieces to complete the car.

I've got ~$14k into it and know I'm going to take a bath on it. I just don't have the time to finish, and with a new house, I won't anytime in the near future. Willing to sell with or without the drivetrain.

Thanks for lookin
Jim

LY6 is a 6.0L truck motor with LS3 heads. So essentially an iron block LS3 with lower compression.

Any interest at all... like I said, it's gotta go, and I'm willing to entertain offers.

Might be a hard sale on this site. Try lateral-g.net

You will have to list a price. That would help here too.

Hoping for $11-12k at this point.

Forgot to note that I rebuilt the entire front and rear suspension with Moog ball joints and bushings, and Koni shocks

Default Here's an offer

Do you have any interest in a custom motorcycle in trade? I have a 2001 Redneck Engineering Lowlife chopper. I'd love to get into a convertible w/ an LS motor and a 6 speed. If you're interested, I can e-mail you some pictures.

should post on pro-touring.com also.

I think its a pretty cool start on the car. Would have liked to see it finished.

Hi

I saw your ad and wanted to know if you would consider selling without the motor/trans as I already have a 69 Ram Air III with Trans.

Thanks, John

I am still interested in motor and trans but just bought a new house and havent sold the old one yet and christmas is here so it will take me a little while to get my savings back up. Maybe you'll still have it when i'm ready. Just bad timing.
