1. Lower steering column foam rubber seal -- GTO and GP guys have them, why not us?
2. Proper '65-6 f/s Gas Tanks -- almost unbelievable you can't get them 3. F/S Tail light housing gaskets -- every single one is hard as a die 4. Reclining seat parts to convert Strato-Buckets, could be used on ANY GM not just darksiders 5. F/S 2+2/Parisienne trim clips for '66s -- unobtanium unless someone knows more about it than me 6. Proper Medium Red color carpet for '66's with red interiors. SMS/ACC colors are way off, this affects GTO / Tempest / Bonneville / Grand Prix / 2+2 / Catalina models. 7. A personal request: Seat covers made from '82-92 Firebird and Trans AM from materials and patterns for 4thgen seats (Pallex, Metrix, etc) Stock seats from '87 up are torture. Custom seats are a fortune and don't match. The right covers would conceal a much better and more comfortable seat and pass all but the most anal show judges. 8. A honeycomb insert for the '82-92 Formula hood that would vent hot air from the engine compartment but not leak in on expensive stuff. Thanks for listening! |

I along with alot of my 73-77 A-Body guys/gals would like to see some more any interior parts for our years. We need interior door panals , rear side panals & any panals for all 6 years of the A-Bodies we have. They make interior parts for all other year GTOS & Lemans . Also seat covers for the same years without having to have them all special hand made covers which are always MUCH more expensive. There are a lot of us who have these year cars & were no all just cheap f*C*S like some have accused us of in the past. We need our parts at a reasonable price to as all the other year A-Bodies have.

Anything for a 1964. Every catalog I have looked at is 61-63 & 65 up. Why can't I have clutch pedal trim for a 64? how about a horn hub? why not b/u light lense in clear instead of the cat/bonne red? How about a gasket for 64 b/u light? seems as if it ain't a gto we go without. Not whining, just sayin....

gp 4 sp, get real you have an entire catalog for your car & your upset because you don't have a few item for your car. How would you feel if you were in our shoes? We who own 73-77 A-bodys have about 10 items for our cars that are repoped, & thats only because they fit other cars , mainly chevys & you now have a catalog for your entire car. When you can't get anything for your car as we have to put up with becasue our cars aren't even thought of as real GTO's & the Lemans guys are to in the same boat. Every year we hope we can get just a w new parts for our cars & when one comes out the price is put up so high no one can afford it , & then the after market people say stuff like see we make the parts & no one buys them, but they are so short sighted that they can't see that were call cheap but the reason is there fault alone by makeing the price double or sometimes triple just because it's a 73-77 part. So stop whinning & just be lucky that you have an entire catalog with almost the entire car in it. We as 73-77 owners ccan't enen get interior parts & when they are avaialbe there wrong. OPGI trys to sell door panals for a 74 that they say are for a 73 which they've been told is wrong but they still try. Then they also try to sell seat belt parts for 47-77 cars which the 73 never had. As I said they don't evne do the proper research for the 73's to make sure there selling the correct parts, & your complaining. At least when they make parts for your car there for the correct year.

Your crying to me about personal problems. I was answering a question. If you read my post, I mentioned specific items made for surrounding years but not a 1964. I don't care how much opgi charges for door panels for a 73 A body. The question was what do I want to see made. Perhaps the reason there are less parts available for your particular choice of pontiac is because the performance era had waned by then and the cars became junk and people sent them to salvage yards within five years. I am not rebuilding a car, I am suggesting clutch pedal trim might also be reproduced for a 64 in addition to 61,62,63 & 65,66 etc., but, thanks for the suggestions into my motives and my less than joyous perusal of all the entire books filled to the brim with all the parts to remake a 1964 pontiac grand prix.

I didn't say anything about the price of the door panals I said they advertise the door panals as being for a 73 & they are actually for a 74 , meaning they don't even know what there talking about when it comes to the parts they are selling for the cars being wrong. But as for as the perforamance winding down in 73 , you must have forgotten the most powerful Pontiac came out in 73 The SD 455 Trans Am's , I don't call the winding down it sounds more like ramping up. That I know as I bought my 73 GTO new & the performance was going strong in my part of the world I however don't know about you as you may not be old enough to remember those times. But they were good.
