Default How do you fix your balls???

AC vent balls that is. How do they keep from moving out of place? I can find the vents and the vent balls themselves, but no product to keep them from moving on thier own...trick?

But seriously, folks...

I found small strips of thin felt pads adhered to the inner surface of the outer ring when I took mine apart. I just cut some new felt pieces and glued them in place; worked fine.

The strips were about 3/8" wide and about 1" long; two per vent ball. HTH.

Pulled the passengers side vent and found my problem. I am missing the reducer part that has the felt on it. It slides inside the vent housing and then reduces down for the hose to attach. Not reproduced.....andyone have any?
