I haven't seen anyone trash these guys lately (surprisingly!), so just a reminder:
Bumper Boyz are the worst in the business. They have no acquaintance whatsoever with the concept of business ethics. Especially Bob - one lie after another.

In 04-05 when I was doing a restoration on a 57 Dodge for Ryan Newman (yes the NASCAR driver) we got some bumpers from them and they never took any of the dents out of one of them, and chrome was thin on the other, copper was showing through in spots. Plus there were scratches in them that showed through the chrome. We sent them back to Bumper Boyz and sent the originals to Tri-City in Tennessee. Those came back show quality and fit for installation. I haven't recommended anyone use them since.

Yeah, I have heard nothing good about these people. Duffy's in Cedar Rapids Iowa is about the same. They screwed me out of $500

Neighbor returned his Maserati bumpers 3 times, finally gave up and kept them.
So my words to him was "I warned ya" My beef is with Potmetal Restorations of Fla. They ruined my round 68 Firebird remote mirror and only gave me a refund. Removed all their bad chrome job with a bench grinder and sent it back .

Bought a bumper from them 10+ years ago. Chrome started flaking within the first year.

I got a good rear bumper for my 67 several years ago before the repos were available. I had the opportunity to look over it very closely prior to purchase. It has held up well. That being said, a lot of people have had bad experiences. There are better options (Tri City)

I actually used them for my '71 rear bumper. I took a rust free bumper to them and asked them to rechrome it and give me the same one back. Went to the show in the fall of that year to pick it up and it obviously was not the bumper I gave them. The bumper they gave me was a rusted out bumper that had been repaired. You could see the evidence of repair on the inside of the bumper. I told them that I would not accept that bumper and they needed to give me my original back. Got another finally months later that was acceptable, but I won't use them again. I have had no problems with the chrome on my bumper, but it is not as good of quality as it should be. Can see a few faint grinding marks through the chrome in spots.
