Just thinking about this if my engine is toast and since most of my interior is shot anyways, I love the 70 GTO front end and since most of the stuff I need to replace is reproduced on the 70 (core support, fenders, hood) all I would need to find would be a good endura bumper then correct? I had a friend do this on a 71 LeMans and looks identical minus the VIN says its not but wouldnt be too worried about that anyways.

nevermind...just a dumb thought that sounded good at the moment. It would cost more anyways then to buy the replacement panels for the 72 front

Yep, that is why I got lucky when I found a one piece 70 GTO fiberglass front end from a member here. Converting to a GTO front end would have cost 2grand easy if I used real parts.
