Default SWITCH ISSUE 70 TILT

I have a 70 GTO with tilt wheel. recently when i crank to start it, it does not fire unless i release the switch back to run. i think this is a bad ignition switch issue. what do you think

i should have added it is running a MSD 6al and MSD pro billed distributor.

Have you tried to adjust the ignition switch yet?

Not yet. It started after i tilted the wheel all the way up working under the dash. Adjusting thats my next move.
