electric antenna '65
I have a '65 GTO with factory electric antenna. It works, but sometimes intermittently. I'm looking for someone to rebuild or service it. Also, some years back i bought an electric antenna on e-Bay that was listed as a stock '65, but it is not, and i didnt return it. It works, but the antenna lead-in plug is on the opposite side and type, the motor is at a different angle and the antenna only protrudes 1/2 inch versus 6 inches when lowered completely. How do i figure out what vehicle it fits?

There is a fellow named Frank, he lives in Florida, he rebuilt my beat-up power antenna.
Did a great job at a reasonable fee. Antenna now straight as an arrow-motor works like new! This happened last spring, I'll try to find his contact info and post it. PS- He also rebuilds power seats. |

Hemmings used to list an antenna guy who could work wonders on PA's. You might want to check the Hemmings ads.

x3 with Frank. Known him since he moved down from NY to Springhill, FL. If you talk or visit, plan on spending some time. He has rebuilt all of my power antennas.

as a follow-up, i want to thank Jonsie, 19sixty5 and Ziggy for recommending Frank. He did a great job repairing my antenna, and also fixed my dash clock, and took an electric antenna from a Lincoln as partial payment. He is a great guy to talk to, did very good work at a reasonable price.
Thanks! |
