I just watched the complete 48:40 video and learned from both sides.

Thanks for the posting!

You have the RIGHT to remain silent, but few do. Same with consenting to a search. You don't have to but most do. Nobody is your friend during a traffic stop.

It is so funny that it is a VA Beach police officer. Anyone who knows about that place knows that this video directly applies to that area.

My close friend and Atty. sent me this one a couple of years ago. He knows the coffee'd up guy in the video.

I got distracted and had to watch the "maintaining eye contact - mission impossible" video that was to the upper right.

Throw the link up for that one! Idiocy is great entertainment during boring conference calls, because I can’t see the idiots on the call…

edit: disregard, found it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x7Kw9-vTJYs Typical power hungry cop. Mother didn't hold him enough and was the high school outcase.

edit: and another http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q83mfdPZcko

edit: aaaand another http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8mvIWFXbHNo

Conference call over. I'm done.

Thanks for posting this! My daughter had a minor accident a few weeks ago (no police involved) and was telling the other driver and her mother that it was her (my daughters) fault. I tried explaining why you never do that in front of anyone (especially the police) and was able to use this to demonstrate why.

The "80% of all convictions come from people talking" is an attention getter.

I couldn't see the purpose in maintaining eye contact the 1st time I watched that video.
