Default Jeff Hamlin, Amazing!

Jeff Hamlin definitely knows the meaning of paying it forward!

Just to let everyone know what kind of amazing friends we have here on this Pontiac forum.

I bought an OHC motor/3 speed trans off of the OHC forum, but was flooded out by hurricane Sandy in both my auto repair shop and my summer home.
I didn't know what to do, since there was no realistic way I could go to Virginia to pick the motor up.
There was just too much going on here trying to clean up and try to save my auto shop and summer home to leave for that long.
Both places were badly hurt, with the shop flooded with 5' of water and the home near LBI having almost 2 1/2' of water in the living areas.
Lost everything inside both places, but at least both places were still standing.

Jeff was kind enough to offer to pick up the motor & trans from where it was, store it for a month or two, and then deliver it from Virginia to New Jersey when he came up to help his folks, who also had lost their Jersey home to hurricane Sandy.

It's heartwarming to know there are people in this world who would go out of their way to help a virtual stranger, neither ask or accept anything in return, and still offer help in the future.
There are an amazing number of people who have volunteered their time and resources to help the people in this area who have lost everything they own, and have to literally start all over again. It really brings a tear to even an old tough guy Marine like me.

Thanks again Jeff
A pleasure meeting you.
I can't thank you enough for the delivery of the cammer.
I'm guessing you'll have a little more room in your garage now.
I hope that someday I can repay your generosity.

Thank you
Ron & Jan Bolanowski

Jeff, I know I've offered this before, but if you come up to NJ this summer, you're invited to any weekend barbecue you wish. :)

Ron,
Knowing what everyone up there has been going through it was my little way of helping.
As I told you not only are you a fellow Jerseyian and Pontiacer.
Your a fellow Cam Nut to boot :D More then glad to help.
Just wish the snow wasn't chasing me so we could have talked awhile.

Best of luck and I'm sure our paths will cross again.

Cheers

Not suprised by Jeff's actions. A stand up guy all the time and a wealth of information. Yes, he is one of the good ones on here & Thankfully there are several more just like him. We have a very good family of true Pontiac folk here.

Jeff not only is a true car enthusiast, he is also willing to share his wealth of knowledge and pitch in to help someone else.
