Red face Interior Color(s) ???

Well ya'll shared the limited vendors for interior on my newly acquired '63 G/P, and I really appreciate the info.

Next question: This was originally an all blue car & interior. The PO painted it red
Now I need to determine the color(s) for the interior as all is being re-done from headliner to carpet.

My friend the upholsterer suggested doing it all in black with a white headliner & visors. I'm planning on doing the lower dash in red to match the exterior. I just went through dozens of pictures here, and...

Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated, and as ya'll would say, one picture is worth a thousand words...

Leaving it red still or going back to blue exterior?

If original, what does the cowl tag say for interior?

Black works with about any color.

Parchment seats and door panels, red carpet, dash, steering column/wheel and lower door panel carpet. Parchment headliner and visors.

.02 All the chrome really pops with all black interior. White headliner would limit that IMO.

JonTA1 - Original was blue on blue. Paint is almost new red & leaving it alone, so interior needs to compliment the red.

Parchment, hummmmmmmmmmm...

The two tone effect on the big cars with white (parchment) seats but color matched (red, blue, etc.) carpets dash, and trim really looks great, IMO. Saw a pic of a burgundy GP ('62) with a parchment/red interior, and it was a knockout. All that chrome trim and the fancy interior appointments that these cars have makes it really look great. JMHO......
