Default TMI console update with installed pics
I got my TMI console today in the mail. It took a little while because I guess they build them per order and dont back stock a lot of stuff. Anyhow I really like it. For a fraction of the cost of a stock piece I got a functional vinyl matching console that leaves me another $600 bills to spend elsewhere. Forgive the dirty carpet. Iv'e been driving the wheels off this thing.

That actually doesn't look bad at all. Nice job. I have to confess, I was in the "That's gonna look like crap in that car!!!" camp. I fully admit I was wrong.

Cool, thanks for the kind words. I was a little concerned myself about it looking like garbage when i made the purchase but again, i wasnt going to pay $750 for a stock console with no cup holders.....no way.

So far my analysis is....

-Nice construction for the money

-Sits nicely on the floor hump

-Vinyl matches the stock seats pretty closely

-I wish the cup holders were bigger by about an inch. I might make that happen myself, at least on the rear holder. They are about soda can sized right now.

-The arm rest pad is perfect height for blacktop/insterstate crusing

Really like it!! For those of us without a console, this is a great option. Did you attached it to the floor or is it wedged between the seats?

Right now its just sitting there until i figure out exactly where I want it. I changed shifter arms, and i have a knob coming in the mail. when i get that down ill place it in for good. It comes with velcro so its removable if needed. I might bolt it down, i'm not sure yet.

Thats what ive got in my car in the pics. Its a legendary interior piece. They are bolstered and i think it makes a difference. TMI makes them too. A guy on the PT board had some 67' GTO seats done from TMI.

This is a bit old but I forgot to answer this question....Nope Legendary makes them like that if you want them. Its a bit more money but I like them. They have broken in nicely as well.

Looking good.....

Our cars are following a similar path.....

I just installed the same steering wheel last night....

and I plan on the Bolstered seat covers in the future....

I also have a 67 HO car... Pro-Touring suspension pretty much done..
