Anybody running 2" or bigger primaries on a round port in a 64-67 gto/tempest/le mans? I was putzing around last night thinking of ways to make my car a better commuter and thought they might pick me up a mpg or so over my Doug's 1 7/8

I had 2" headman huslser headers on mine.
They worked nicely. |

Doubt you'll see a mileage gain over the 1 7/8 tubes. But anyway Hedman has a race header (different from their street headers) that fit good and has big tubes for RAIV heads.

I was kind of joking about the MPG
![]() Anyway, looks like they list the 2" for a 66 but not a 65, Jack your car is a 65, right? Do you remember if it was part no. 35030? Kind of random but I think I ran into you at a NAPA in Millersville about 5 years ago, since moved to Spokane WA and got my car running. At the time I was living in Bowie. |

It’s really best to size by your exh flow numbers.

those hedman huslers are now discontinued. i had mine on my 66. i still have them and a set of the d port husler 2" headers. some of the best fitting headers ive owned. mine have the flat collector that actually sounds pretty good open.

One of the best fitting headers. Hate they quit making them. I have a set on my 65 that came off my 66. Fit like a glove.

LOL,
I actually checked mine last week after a cruise; I got 4.7 miles to the gallon. You can file it under pump gas streetcar with 2" headers.
