Default 1966 Longtail Transmission Mount?

I have a longtail Muncie in my 66 Bonneville wagon and am trying to find a transmission mount. The local NAPA has had zero luck and says they have never seen one like it.

It's got a single stud that bolts to the cross-member and then two holes for the trans. The issue is that the holes are offset (diagonal) by about an inch. I have not been able to find one that looks like it. Does the long tail shaft have a different mount than the standard? I'll try to post a picture of it tomorrow...

Found this after I posted...

here is on on ebay... http://www.ebay.com/itm/WESTAR-EM-23...d9770c&vxp=mtr

That should be what you need.
Or you can check with our host Performance Years.

I'll see if I can find the part number, but I used a trans mount from a 66 mustang I believe. Maybe search "mustang mount" here

Go to a parts store and get a 2333 mount, which is an engine mount for a 6 cylinder Mustang. It works perfect.

I think that the correct part # is 2321. It fits all 1965-1970 Full Size Pontiacs, Automatic or Manual transmission. It does appear to sit crooked with the factory mount, but will sit squarely with the Ford mount.

I ended up ordering the 2321. The Ford mount looks to have the holes in line with the stud, while mine has them offset. I looked at my transmission and it definitely has offset holes so the Ford mount would have been crooked. It would have worked though.

No, the Ford mount is straight, as it was in 1965. In 1966, they staggered the mount.

I have done this many times.
