Default hard shifting turbo 400

I have a mildly built 400 with a t-400 behind it with 3.23 gears in a 69 vert. Since building, I have about 2000 miles on the car and it always ran well. This morning, it started shifting hard and the shift points (both 1-2 and 2-3) seemed to happen at a higher RPM than before. What I find strange is that I have changed nothing on the car to cause this. Everything was rebuilt 2000 miles ago at the same time, new torque converter supplied by the tranny builder (stock converter, not sure of the brand but the brand he routinely uses) new modulator, and internals, etc. Car was built as a cruiser and I have never even spun the tires. Any ideas what to look for?

Check your vacuum at the source and at the modulator with a gauge. It sounds like a vacuum leak or a related external issue.

Ditto, little or no vacumm to the modulator, or the modulator has gone south.

...its the honest truth on this car, but now that you guys mentioned it, I feel like a total dork admitting it.

BTW, it was a vacuum leak. Thanks to all who replied for the help.
