Default Yellow Trans Am?

I'm new to 3rd gen F cars. Was yellow available on a 1991 T/A Convertable? I know yellow was available in '92.

are you sure it's not a 92?.. did you check the VIN??

Jamaica Yellow was one of four special "anniversary" colors for 1992 Firebird production, but yeah NOT in 1991...

I have a JY 92 T/A vert and a JY 92 305 5spd ttop formula with the SLP package, dealer installed.
About 54 total TA and base JY verts.
Add that to 482 JY coupes and you have about 536 total 1992 JY cars.
And out of that total JY number, there are 14 or so GTAs, 32 formulas and 26 base birds without ground FX.

These are close numbers but not 100%.

It was a nice car needing some work but the owner wouldn't move on the price.

Do you have pix of it?
Check the driver side door stickers and RPO codes in the console or rear locking compartment.
Also on the door jam ASC will have their sticker with the conversion date month and yr.
