Default Eastwood gel rust remover

Hey guys,

Anyone use this stuff? I just got mine in the mail today and I'm pretty upset with it's "gel" quality, or lack there of to be precise. I shook up the bottle to make sure it hadn't separated, and I'm still basically spreading blue windex with a paint brush. I fail to see how this is a gel for vertical surfaces in any manner at all. Instructions say to cover it with some food wrap to keep it from drying out, walking into the house to get some and came back out to dry metal immediately. Am I missing something here? Where is the gel factor?!? I was expecting something with the consistency of the snotty jelly like paint remover, not a chemical-smell windex! No answer at Eastwood tech number and I'm guessng it'll be a few days before they respond to my email. I was all fired up to get the window channels cleaned out with this stuff and I can't keep them wet let alone let the "gel" work it's magic for 8 hours like it says it needs.
