Default 65 NOS tail Panel ???

I called this guy a few weeks ago to see if they still had it, he said they sold it. I asked how much, he said not much more than it was listed for on Ebay.

Did anyone here end up with it?

The guy would not say. He said that his son sold it just after they listed it. I asked if they got a few thousand for it and asked how much. he said he got just a little more than what he had it listed for and that's all he would say.

Listing says $469. I would guess he got a few more dollars than that.

Would agree with that. I'd bet that it went for twice as much.

About 10 years ago I saw a very nice one maybe NOS maybe redone with a price tag of $1500 on it. The guy wasnt at his booth so I couldnt even talk to him but I figured we were too far off to strike a deal anyway.

Whew - can't believe I missed that one. Not perfect, but great driver quality.

The only NOS one I have seen in the recent future was at the 2006 POCI convention in Greenville SC. Barry M. had it along with a fairly nice used one. His girlfriend asked me $6500 for the NOS one and $1500 for the used one. I saw him later that day and asked him about it, and he did state that she had mis priced the NOS one, that it would be a little less than the $6500 that I was quoted. I didn't inquire further because if the price on the used one was $1500 I surely didn't need the NOS one!

It wouldn't surprise me if Barry didn't buy the one in question.

FWIW, about 5 years ago, I bought my NOS one on ebay for $3,150.00. At the time, I thought I did pretty good.
