That sure was one h#$^ of a mid-season ending! Lots of surprises in this episode. This season has sort of been on the slow side but they just made up for it.

The tone on The Talking Dead afterwards was very somber. It seemed like everyone was still trying to process what just happened, including the actors that filmed it 3-4 months ago and already knew the outcome.

Ahhhh, good one.

I lost AMC after last season, so I'm in the dark I will catch up on Netflix, but very happy to hear the governor is gone.

It's a small world...
When my daughter first moved to Chicago, she roomed with two local kids that she knew from college (Kalamazoo College in Michigan).
One of them was a struggling young comedian/actor who made it into the Second City cast...Steven Yeun.
Disciplined, hard working young man; very glad to see his success!

Very good episode. This show and Breaking Bad has (somewhat) restored my faith in finding good television.

Cant beleive this thread isnt or hasn't been a sticky.. Most other forums I look at in their version of lobby have this ongoing... very popular maybe were too busy restoring Pontiacs...

great ending to mid-season.
only gripe they didnt want to show Carl with a AR stlye rifle so they gave him a lever action ala Chuck Connors... LOL chickens

On a unrelated note, how come there were no walkers near the fence when the gov's possy showed up? When all the other time they were damn near pushing the fence down.
Also how come nobody ever has or uses shotguns?

Hey on the shot gun. I think in the glamour of guns on TV the shotgun is a read head step child to the AR15 and the AK47. I would take a SPAS 12/Berneli M4 in any close battle. Anytime.

Feb 9th should be interesting. Rick’s pad shot full of holes, fence torn down and he has to be running low on ammo after that firefight. Didn’t one of the final scenes show Rick and the kid heading down the road, getting the heck out of Dodge?

While a shotgun would work just fine it only takes one bullet to take out a zombie unless you are shooting slugs it's only good at close range. Any rifle with a detachable mag would be my preference as you can get shots at a distance I would think a good 22 would work best plus you can carry a lot of ammo in case of a swarm

Great show. Just watched mid season finale...awesome! Never missed an episode. The only thing that sucks is the actual show is down to about 35-40 minutes with the intrusive commercials. It is getting harder and harder to watch anything anymore with the invasion of over-commercialization. It seems like it is all I watch is commercials. Been recording and on-demand more often to skip 'em.

Best show around at the moment, who would have thought you could get such a great story line revolving around zombie's!
