I have a set a 1972 GTO fenders that I would like to sell. I wanted to get some opinions on what they are worth.
This is the current condition of the passenger fender. As you can see it's mostly surface rust with the typical rust area in the lower rear corner. ![]() ![]() And here are pictures of the drivers fender. The condition is the same as the passenger fender except for the damage near the bumper recess area and along the horizontal fender line as you can see. ![]() ![]() If you could give me your estimate of value of the condition they are in now, and their value if I was to repair all of the damage with sandblasting to bare metal, welding in lower rear corner fender patches, and finishing with two coats of epoxy primer. I would disclose all the repairs I did to a future buyer. I currently have someone interested in the passenger fender but I have no idea what price to ask for. I also want to determine if it's worth my time to hold off, repair them, and then try to sell them. Thanks
