Default 74 GTO Carpet color options

I want to replace my carpet with the original color. My car is black with red interior. ACC carpet shows 4305 Oxblood as the original carpet in cutpile( a deep red) Trim Parts shows several Red choices. Anybody know if the original color was bright red, firethorn red or Oxblood? Is it cutpile?

Best way to get original color is to cut a piece off of the original carpet and send it to manufacturer. Cut the piece off from under the seat were it is not faded.

Here are some pics of red interior+ carpet GTOs. You'll notice they used cut pile carpet instead of loop pile and the ends are serge hemmed. The color of red is pretty consistent so I wouldn't expect any trouble matching it up. Try ACC first.
