Default Remote Mirror "Joystick" location

OK
I tried to post this in the interior section but got no response after the first one to look at the back of the door panel. .

1965 GTO...
I need to know the placement of the "joystick" on the door panel for my remote mirror.

The panel is a re-pop so it doesn't have any indentation on the back side.
If someone can get some dimensions and some photos of where it is mounted that would be great.

thanks....

Zim,
If you don't get an answer before the weekend,
I'll go over to the shop and get some measurements for you off one the '65's my friend has.

This is a Legendary trim panel for a 65 GTO. This should be an exact location since Legendary is the best out there.

A photo showing it installed would be great also.

I've seen a photo showing it installed but it was on a panel with electric windows.
I'm afraid it may interfere with the window crank.

I guess I could mock up the placement using the ring and some double sided tape to see if it would be a problem at the given measurements provided by 6t5gto.
