Default 1965/66 Electro-Cruise training manual

I am looking for a copy of a manual published by Pontiac (certainly in 1965 and maybe in 1966) for their Service Craftsman Training Program and was used in their training centers. It was called "1965 Pontiac Electro-Cruise Trouble Diagnosis Guide" and supplemented the information in the Service Manual. The topics included (1) Operation of System, (2) Control Unit Testing, (3) Power Unit Tests, (4) Engagements Switch Tests and (5) Road Test. It appears that particular emphasis was given to the electro-cruise power unit and the electro-cruise speedo meter head.

Does anyone have a copy of this manual that I could purchase or trade for other 1966 Big Pontiac service documentation? Someone out there must hoard this kind of obscure documentation - lord knows I am trying to.

Anywhere else on this site that I should post this request?

You might also post in the Lobby. I know there are a couple of guys that have this.

Merle Green Pres. of POCI also has it. He claims to have every Pontiac document ever printed according to a recent conversation I had with him.

I have been involved with Electro Cruise for several years now and a couple of years ago I decided to upgrade to a true Dana closed loop servo. With the help from Patrick who donated electro-criuse components I was able to successfully integrate and retrofit an existing 66' electro-cruise to a Dana.

Joe,

Did you create a thread to cover this ? MY 66 Sedan will be a daily Driver and
Ive thought about adding cruise which was not on build.

Would love to find a way to add a system that would be a mix of new and old..

thanks
John

Are you looking for the 4 page Trouble Diagnostic Guide that came with a (I think) News Flash? I haven't scaned that yet but can, it may not be to readable as my copy is a bit fuzzy.
I would be more than happy to scan it and send it to you if you PM me your E-mail address.

I have scanned the 23 page AC service bulletin that goes into a bunch of bench troubleshooting on the system, I can try to send that too, but it's 37 Mb.
