Default Ebay Alterstart Mini-Starter

Anyone try one of these mini-starters from Alterstart that are sold on Ebay? I've purchased a couple alternators from Alterstart. One for my Izusu that wasn't so good, and one for the Pontiac that works just fine. From my own experiences, I would recommend them for alternators, but what about these remanufactured mini starters?

Here's the link:

Have had many different "little" starters like this over the years. Those without a pinion support nose piece have always given me problems, stay away from them now. The one I have now on the 461" Pontiac motor came from John Mc something everyone here raves about, been very pleased with it.

If you look at the listing its a re-manufactured starter which explains the price.

I use the mini-starter from Summit, although it costs a little more than this re-man unit on ebay. Fits. Works. Like it.

I bought this one late last year, works great.. I live in vegas where theres real heat. been in the car for 6 months no problems.. but,,, its in a track only car.. so street use, I don't know, but this guy has been doing this for 28yrs.. and offers the warranty to back it up.., I guess its better than some guy building them in their garage from kits...
