The first question says the ad states that the engine is original, then one of the last answers, he says they never claimed it was the original motor. Is that possible - original motor and not matching numbers?

I asked for the phs or documents re that car the first time it was on ebay. Any minute he's going send it to me, he promised it's only been a month or two. yeah right, any day now.

In the question I asked him, I put my phone number for him to call me, he then posts it in the question for all to see. When I commented Thanks for putting my personal contact info out there publically, the only response I got back was "your welcome". What a piece of work.

I guess I'm not really clear on the slander and wrecking the sale factor.....no one's making him answer the questions publicly on the auction, so the only reason anyone knows about all the issues with the documentation and these accompanying "slanderous" comments is because he's posting them to the ad so what's his angle for doing that?

if you didn't get the documents yet, then obviously, you didn't send him the "small refundable deposit" first. not sending the deposit, sends up the "big red flag of a tire kicker". they just don't have the time to deal with tire kickers.

The "seller dashboard" on ebay will strongly prompt/urge/encourage you to answer all questions as they come in.
Depending on settings - you will also get pop-ups and various notifications to answer them.

The guy probably doesn't know he can un-check the box not to post Q&A.

He doesn't seem very polished in any form of business or communicating.
