Yea that low a compression....what did Nascar allow for compression back then?

I was dreaming of an all aluminum EFI RAV in a Judge Clone convertible today. I need my stock price to go up and my kids to get scholarships to college. lol

Obviously it would make more with a better carb and more CR. I'll say 431HP.

I got no AFB basis of HP prediction. Can other carbs be tried?

I assume he will use the AFB dyno carb.He also has a Quickfuel 1000 dyno carb but because of the CI he chose the AFB.He will run my 950 Holley 3 bbl for me just to be sure it is good to go when I put it in my 69 bird.Tom

Donovan is probably the closest. In theory the cam, compression, and head flow should push it pretty far. I'm still skeptical though - its a race motor that didn't they abandoned early in development - mainly I'm just jelly that its yours and not mine

Question

My question would be, if it doesn't make 400 horses, what's all the shouting about?

With the short stroke I think it will make decent HP but not bunches of torque..
500 HP + or -. Depends on RPM capability..

Troy, not enough cam or CR IMO.Also that short of stroke in the deck height is not great.I know what the 366 shortdeck made.It was I believe 448 with the dual plane factory intake at 5800.Tom
