Default A contrast of 1969s

The quintessential perfumed pig.

And then there's this one, which was sold at the same dealership my mom bought her wagon:

I would say that is a big contrast!

Maybe I should put Judge decals on my pickup truck. Will it draw a crowd even at stop lights. ha ha..

A freind had the only Red on red RAIV auto convert back in 1995 {one of 14 made} Sold it for 40 k back then. Last sold after writeup in Muscle Car Review for 140. Since then, I believe it sold again for less. Other then "expensive" dont really know where the trend is on these RAIV converts. Not sure how much it matters, but my buddies was all matching numbers, while the black on here has a SR bock

Why? Hemi Cuda Convertible sells for 3.5 mil & a RA IV GTO Convertible isn't worth 200k?

Must have something to do with hype or precieved value. Sometimes life aint fair. If i had to guess I would say "hype" cause back in the mid eightys a buddy tried to sell me a few Six Pack 'Cuda hardtops for around 5 grand each. Told me nobody wanted them. I remember the Muscle Car {Review} article about the first million dollar Hemi Cuda conv from 1987. They wondered how much higher they could actually go. I guess time would {and did} eventually tell

I would agree, but I think it has to start with US thinking our cars are rare, valuable & desirable and stop tearing them apart the way this board does! None of the other boards I've visited will kill a car as badly as this one.

most folks in the know understand HOW the auction game is played. Group buys up several cars...let's say Hemi 'Cudas one year. One gets a good time...Friday night or Sat afternoon and one of the other "buddies" bids it up to an unreasonable price. Now...the rest of them jump in value. They all sell...cash in and next year do the same to say Big Block Fords...give 'em bad times and buy 'em up cheap. Give 'em good spots next year and cash in again. Ram air Pontiacs still waiting their turn. Many in the hands of these "cliques" now. Just my take on what I've seen. Watch and see how Hemis jump next auction...and watch 'em fall outta the woodwork.

Didnt 1969 Judges just get done being "run up" at Scottsdale last Jan? Are they still "up" or have they faded some since?
