Default rear speaker
I have a 68 GTO.
My question is, could you have a rear speaker without the rear speaker dash fader switch.
My car has the blue rear speaker wire going to the back of the car. It also is a rear power antenna car.

I read it. But would 68 be the same. I will check my options again. I have no rear speaker switch. Would the factory just install just the wire?

My guess is some one has put in rear speakers before you got the car. IMO

My 68 came with a rear speaker. It also came new with AM/FM mono and Stereo 8-Track. It did not come with the rear speaker dash fader switch.
No need for it with the controls on the Stereo 8-Track.
