Default Old Ad Back Up for Info

Bringing this back to the top. Does anyone know the whereabouts of this car? I have not tried the contact information in the old ad yet. I thought I would ask here first to see if anyone recognizes it.

Thanks - Kevin

Sold this long ago...been sold 3 times since. Consider buying it back so if the current owner sees this give me call. Was bad ass street car...ultimately went best 10.08 on motor and in low teens like a bracket car. Also went 880s on single big shot plate.

Thanks for responding. I always loved that car but didn't have the means to buy it back then so I didn't bother you. Really impressive performance. Were the times all on the 9" tires? Even more impressive if so. Do you think the car is still in the Midwest? I don't think I have ever seen it at Norwalk. If I ever run across it I will let you know in hopes one of us can get it. It should be a hard car to hide in that color.

Take care - Kevin

I knew the 1st two guys who bought it but not the current owner, was told it is still in Michigan. All the times were on 30x9 Hoosier radial slicks. It's all in the combo no need for a stroker. Stock block with billet mains and lifter brace, eagle crank and rods, small solid roller and the KRE hi ports which I would put on next Pontiac motor I do...power is in the heads and the times at 3800lbs speak for themselves.

From what I was told hasn't been to the track or a big car show since I sold it.

Awesome car, highly functional, very clean and tastefully executed. What else could one ask for. Good luck with trying to find it

Rough cam specs are 660 lift, duration 262 int, 272 exh @ .050 and 112 lobe sep. I drove it a lot on street even 45 min ride work on occasion. I checked the lash often and the valve springs lasted many years well over 150 passes on them and still checked within 10-15 lbs of new at last freshen up I did. The crank and rods were forged eagle.

Only reason I sold it was I drove it all time and was getting expensive running 112 octane. Was going change it to pump gas NOS motor had I not sold it. Building a turbo LS drag radial car now.

I will say this the KRE hi port heads are killer...the car ran the best shifting at 6800 rpm for 1st and 7000 after that...on the 300 hp shot would go through traps at 7400. Never an issue at those RPMs little 455 loved it
