Default Need to interchange seats in my TA

I am having a difficult time locating useable seats for my 78 TA.
All the units I have located are in the same or worse shape than my originals.
The seat tracks are trash, rusted and not worth trying to repair.
Are there any other tracks that will work, later model?

My question is., what other seats will work in this car, besides the 76-81?
Are there any late model seats that I can replace the older ones with?
This is not a restore, just wanting to make a driver for my grandson.
Got a buddy in a machine shop that can fab brackets if need be.

ANY help will be appreciated!!
Dave

dont know how much you are looking to spend, but Corbeau makes nice seats and has brackets/etc
you should be able to just about make any seat work, i had 3rd gen seats at one time work in my 79, they were bolted on to the existing seat brackets

Look at sourcing horsecollar style seats from a 73-77 Grand Prix, Grand LeMans or Grand Am. The GA seat frames have lumbar and passenger recline and they'll look almost correct. The seat tracks will not work in an F-body, though.

If you want late model seats, you could stick in almost anything. Avoid the ones with air bags and built in seat belts if you want to make it easier.
