1962 Tempest/LeMans convertible. Nut bolt restoration on rust free California car. Body and floor boards were media blasted, primed, body work completed, block sanded, painted epoxy base/clear in black. Under carriage has been undercoated.
Engine is a 1969 428 bored 30, TRW forged pistons which have been dished to lower compression. 670 heads, port matched, Comp springs, Comp roller tip rockers, Comp 274H cam. Offy dual quad intake with 1965 Pontiac Carter AFB carbs. Pontiac HO manifolds ceramic coated, 2.5 system with Flowmaster exhaust with tail pipes. Muncie M-20 transmission, Hurst Competition Plus shifter, hydraulic throw out bearing. Rear end is from 1967 Nova, 3:23 gear, 1969 Z-28 leaf springs. Quick ratio power steering, front disk brakes, rear drums. Interior has been restored to original appearance, power top is new and mechanics have been rebuilt. Period correct knee knocker tach and gauges, Fun car to drive, sounds great, nice tight ride. This car always draws a crowd. Hate to sell it but have another project, 1 more than I need.
