I rebuilt the front end of my 1978 T/A, back in 1997. Got the front springs for an A/C car from Ames. The car just sits too high in the front. Been bothering me for years. (About 2-3 inches high). I'm looking for a set of used springs to put her back down lower. The originals looked good, just figured since I was changing everything else, should do the springs too. Currently there is no A/C in the car, but don't think missing A/C would make the car sit so high. Don't really wanna spend the cash to buy new lowering springs, seeing my ex took most my money, but at least left me the T/A!!

Did you let it settle before tightening the Nuts on the Upper Control Arm Shaft ?

just take em out & cut about 1" of height. cut the bottom of the spring. 1" will equal ~ 2" of drop on the car. quick, easy, free fix for the ride height issue.

I have a used set of Old school Rancho GT front and rear springs. Had nice lower stance but not in the weeds. Selling as a matched set but shipping the leafs may be an issue.

moog 5376 is perfect.did mine last week.my 75 TA was too high also.my hand was passing between tire and fender with 225 70 15 stock tire size,now it doesnt fit,it went down a good inch and a half.good luck

Maybe its the tire size. I've got 255/60/15 on 7 inch snowflakes. They only have about 10,000 miles on them, I thought after 15 years they would of dropped a little, I thought about cutting, but figured someone might have an old broken in set laying around
