Default 1965 Door Ledge reveal molding install

Wondering how hard they are to install and also the quality of the aftermarkets like Performance Years? Does the whole inside of door have to come off ?

I've been told that the aftermarket pieces are of thinner gage aluminum than OEM. As you know, the OEM pieces are prone to denting, so if thinner, the aftermarket pieces would be really vulnerable.

There are many places that will straighten and polish your originals. Anodizing is seldom successful, according to the '64/'65 owners I've spoken with.

Bottom line is that you need to repair them or replace them if they're scratched or dented. I didn't, and now there is a lot of work to remove the vent windows to allow removal.
