I have searched the forum results and am pretty confident that the attached picture is the correct core support for the taller, 4 row radiator for a GTO or Lemans with A/C. The picture is from a 64 Lemans parts car I am considering picking up - but the owner is pretty sure (it is stored in a remote location not close to him) that the car has neither A/C or had the heavy duty cooling package....but I am pretty sure this is the squared-off, deeper core (possibly swapped by someone at some point in time ?)
Anybody share to comment and agree or disagree with me ? Thx in advance, I know that is has been discussed a few times in previous posts, but since I can't see this part in person, just looking for some comments before I send some cash off to purchase this This is the deeper support correct for a 64 GTO, right ? |

Core supports are commonly swapped around regardless of how the car was originally equipped, accidents do happen.
![]() My '64 LeMans with factory A/C has the same core support. Buy it.
