Help sealing tire
I could use some advice, I can't inflate my snowblower tire. I had a hard time getting the tire to seal against the rim. I ended up using some Slime, which probably made things worse. I finally was able to get the tire to seal but if I add too much air blows the tire off the rim. I cleaned off as much Slime as I could, and let it set overnight to dry. But just as before if I add too much air it will blow the tire off the rim. As you can see in the picture, the tire really balloons out when fully inflated. I can't even get close to fully inflated before the tire blows off the rim. Is there some type of glue the professionals use? Any advice is appreciated. Thanks, Mitch.

Mitch, the steel in the bead is broken allowing it to slide over the outside of the wheel, time for a new tire. I've only had it happen to me one time on a car tire, but it does happen. The steel in the bead either corrodes or just was defective when the tire was manufactured and finally sheared off allowing it to slide over the lip of the wheel.
If your having trouble getting the bead out near the edge of the rim ,a ratcheting tie strap is what I use to expand the bead out so the tire seals against the rim. When the bead seats stop inflating it and remove the strap. Too much tension on the strap makes it tough to get it off.

What pressure are you inflating to? My Toro book says 10-15 psi. Bigger tires may be a little higher.

Mitch, replace the tire there are no band aids for a broken bead band on a tire. Inflating it with defective bead bands is a accident waiting to happen as the tire will dismount at will because of the band that holds the tire from blowing off the rim is broken in two.
The tire is simply defective for whatever reason and can not be inflated safely, no matter with or without a tube, or running at reduced tire pressure. It's junk plain and simple. Tractor Supply will most likely have a replacement tire or possibly a tire and wheel combo and I know there's a TSC on at 19 and 90 in Erie. TSC has a fairly good selection of ATV tires. If not you may have to try an ATV dealer on Monday or order one online.
