That car looks fixable. The only thing I really be worried about is the roof. Looks like it took some pretty severe heat. I scrapped my first GTO after an engine fire. I wish I'd kept it as it would have been easier to fix than the one I've been working on forever.

I'd take it to someone to blast & get rid of the fire smell & then go from there. A roof would be east enough to replace if the rest of the car is good. All the parts needed to fix it is available , it just depends on what he reserve is. I'd go 5K. if I had it & spend the year to fix it & have a great 68 when done.

That's the Reverb unit in the trunk. I'd say that car looks more like it was exposed to the fire rather than being the source of it.
