Default 68 Battery Hold Down

Attempting to put in correct tray and hold down assembly, the car I bought a while back had a battery re-located to the trunk. I'm moving it back up front.

I know trays and the hold down retainer that goes across the top of the battery are available in the aftermarket.... but what connects the retainer to the tray? IE how is the battery secured? Are there J bolts that run down to the tray? There are also "battery tray clamp bolts." Unsure how all these parts fit together for a correct stock recreation.

Any pics would be helpful.

THANKS!!

there is a clamp that "pinches" the bottom of the battery and that acts to secure the battery to the tray. Here's a pic of one like it. The bottom piece in the pic is secured with the shown bolt through the tray.

ok i think i understand. thanks for the reply. so if i understand correctly, the hold down retainer (linked below) isn't really used at all? sounds like there is just 1? (or two?) clamps at the bottom of the batt.

Here is the actual tray and hardware from our host... It doesn't show the wedge clamp so I would inquire if it comes with it (it did when I bought 2 of these in the past)

These bolts are used to hold the tray to the inner fender and rad. support
