Our newly acquired 68 Tempest Custom has a stuck drivers door. Its not locked, the lock shaft goes up and down, the button on the outside depresses and springs back, the inside handle is pretty free but lifting it does nothing. Door won't open.
I've tried jabbing a screwdriver into whatever mechanism I can see down in the door with the window down, no luck. Do I need to need to pull the door panel and go that route? |

Sounds like the mechanism is not being fully engaged by pushing the button or lifting the handle. I would suggest removing the door panel for access to the mechanism providing the clearest view/path to that area/connection/mechanism
