Crash at OPDS race today!!
Wayne Garrison blew a motor about 1000' and spun in wall then barrel rolled several times then went up on wall then over it!! He walked away but has serious hand injury. He grabbed roll cage when car went over and it got crushed between bar and roof. He appears to ok otherwise but will be checked out at hospital. Glad the cage was up to task. No he did not have a diaper which is a good point but glad he wil race another day.

Glad he is OK. Car looks like it took a heck of a shot! It's a shame anytime someone looses their race car like that.

Damn! Certainly glad that he escaped major injury, but it sucks that he lost the car!. I hope his hand heals up well.

He was alert and speaking on phone with his wife while in ambulance.
He told some one three fingers were bad. They were going to hand expert after check up Definitely a nice guy. Hope his hand heals completely.

Glad he is not too bad that is what is most important and I hope he has a quick, full recovery.
Stuff can be replaced but it is still hard regardless. |
