how is the year AND date code read on the calipers...
I am getting ready to have a few sets rebuilt ...and want to only do 69 ones is the 38 and 29 a julian date ? what/where do I find the year or is that a partial part number above similar to the way regulators are stamped with the last few digits ? thanks guys ! Scott |

How ya doing Scott? Those are the Julian dates,if you look close there is a stamped date on one of the machined surfaces that is the day of assembly also. I got everything squared around with Stefan yesterday.

but where is the year ? machined surface... ?? by the brake pad..?
I will look tonite and maybe bead blast one of em and look closer.. thanks Scott the Ram Air manifolds are tucked under the Chevy 400 stroker motor and safe... Steve was at the cabin and we chatted for a few today.... We will get em to ya the next couple weekends when I meet him to do yardwork at his Moms house ... thanks for contacting Stephan ... |
